First post! ;)
Trying out Blosxom for a new web log.
It's cool because:
- It's relatively simple in design and implementation. One Perl CGI and you're done.
- It's very easy to maintain and update. Just text files, I can blog in VI if I want (and I do want..)
It has a caveat in that you need to write entries in HTML if you want formatting, but it's not bad since the page layout is taken care of externally.
Next week's silly project is to hack an email-to-blog interface with some sort of authentication. I'm thinking of something with S/Key challenge-response might be pretty decent.
